Why Boy Singers

The Boy Singers always welcomes young singers aged seven through 12th grade to join our choirs. Interested boys and their families can arrange a visit any time to find out more about the Boy Singers.

Members of The Boy Singers of Maine benefit from an excellent musical education, a performing in a variety of concerts, an annual summer camp, and the camaraderie of being with other musically-minded boys.

Many former Boy Singers have majored in music and gone on to pursue careers in performing. Notable BSM alumni include:

Leon Griesbach, currently Director of Liturgical Music and Seminary Choir Director at The Pontifical North American College in Rome, Italy.

Michael O, led The Dartmouth Aires to a second place finish on NBC’s The Sing Off in the 2011-2012 season. His first EP, In The Beginning, was the top-selling CD released by any Maine artist in 2013.

Nimal Eames-Scott is the second Boy Singer to appear in NBC’s The Sing Off. He is part of an a cappella quintet called A.SQUARED. Check out their YouTube video here!
